Students organize fundraising event as part of their CAS project

A group of EF Academy Oxford students recently organized a fundraising event for the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, an organization that admits, cares for and re-homes animals. The students organized the fundraising event as part of their CAS project (As part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, students must develop a project related to Creativity, Activity and Service).

Together, they cooked pasta, lasagna and crepes for their peers and donated the money they collected to the Animal Sanctuary. It was a successful event, as Giorgia recounts, “It was a great experience because we had the opportunity to spend time together, like a big family, and at the same time we also had the chance to help animals, who are still looking for a family.”
