Typically Canadian
The modern skyscrapers, snow-capped mountains, thick green forests and friendly people that have come to define Canada are all found in Vancouver. Voted among the world’s most beautiful cities, Vancouver dazzles visitors with a picturesque waterfront, lush wooded parks and soaring mountains.
During the week, our English course students take full advantage of the Robson Street shops and Gastown cafés that surround our school. On the weekends, their dreams of natural Canada come to life while reenacting the 2010 winter Olympics on the top of nearby Whistler Mountain, hiking through the wooded trails of British Columbia or sea kayaking among majestic Orca whales. It may represent iconic Canada, but Vancouver is truly unique. Where else would you find downtown skyscrapers, a Chinatown, a beach, and a redwood grove all within the same city limits?
