Nearly all our school locations offer the option of a welcoming home environment. An EF host family is a useful way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your host culture we also offer a Homeshare option,

Living in a private home offers a warm and secure way to immerse yourself in the daily life of your new country. Daily contact with your host family will enrich your understanding of local culture and customs. You’ll pick up expressions with greater ease, and your accent will sound more authentic.

Our homestay program boasts a strong network of local families – many have hosted EF students for a number of years. Every homestay family is carefully screened in their homes by our accommodation staff.

Every EF course includes comfortable accommodation and a weekly meal plan. Most EF school locations offer a choice of at least two housing options. Regardless of which lifestyle suits you best, you'll be living around native speakers and immersing yourself in local customs and culture-and putting your language skills to use!

EF International House

EF's International Houses are comfortable accommodation conveniently located in or near the EF school. We also offer Off-site Student residences and apartments in central locations within convenient traveling distance to your EF school,

Enhance the experience of studying alongside students from 50 countries by living with them in one of EF's International Houses. These comfortable residences also offer the convenience of being located in or near the EF school.

Campus Residences

Living in a student residence on-campus allows you to live alongside native-speaking students and immerse yourself in real university life.

Other Accommodation

Apartment living offers many of the comforts of home -- such as a kitchen for cooking meals, a living area and a private bathroom. It's ideal for the independent student who seeks a little more privacy. Ask your local EF office for more information about where this option is available.

If you prefer, we can arrange accommodation in a comfortable nearby hotel. This option gives you more flexibility to arrange your free time and meals to suit your own timetable, particularly if you also need to conduct business abroad. Breakfast is normally included in the price, as well as all of the hotel’s amenities and daily maid service.
