To build a base level of grammar and communication skills, all EF students participate in a highly interactive series of language lessons. In the case of an EF Action English™ course, students use the EF Fast Track™ books series to achieve linguistic fluency and EF Culture File for cultural context. (EF Junior students use EF Trailbalzers™ - a book series designed especially for them!) With our EF Action...
With EF Action English™, students always activate their language lessons with group work, role-plays and debates. They also take their new skills outside the classroom to practice them in real-life situations by collecting "stamps" for their official EF PAssports of core linguistic and cultural skills; ordering drinks at a café, navigating transport, interviewing locals, playing games. EF Action English PLUS™ students work with a professinoal coach to hone technical skills in their chosen activity, artform or sport.
To encourage total immersion, every EF student completes a project meaningful to them. In the case of EF Action English™, this might, for example, be a multi-media scrapbook of their experience which they can post on Facebook or Youtube. EF Action English PLUS™ students stage a play, produce a fashion show, or organise a sport tournament.
