English courses in New Zealand

Get to know Kiwis from the inside out by taking an English course in New Zealand, immersing yourself in this island nation’s unique culture and environment. Although it’s about the same size as Great Britain or Japan, New Zealand has only 4 million inhabitants, making it an ideal destination for nature-lovers. In addition, the landscapes are spectacular and diverse, ranging from snow-capped mountain chains with steaming volcanoes to lush rainforests and sweeping coastlines. New Zealand offers a temperate climate all year round, with many opportunities to ski and snow-board in the winter. In the summer it is possible, in the same day, to surf in the morning and visit a glacier in the afternoon.

EF’s English school is located in Auckland, a city renowned for its enchanting harbor-front setting and the down-to-earth friendliness of its inhabitants. In the native Maori language of New Zealand, Auckland is known as Tamaki-Makau-Rau, or “the maiden with a hundred suitors”, because the land in that area was so desired by many tribes. During an English course in Auckland you’ll be studying English right in the middle of the lively university district, a perfect place if you want to study a range of subjects in an academically challenging environment.
