Headmistress of EF International Academy Oxford
Ms. Ted McGrath BEd (Hons), headmistress Ted previously served as International Baccalaureate coordinator and head of sixth form at Dulwich International College in Phuket, Thailand. She has extensive experience in international education and leadership and is committed to developing quality academic programmes and raising standards in education. She undertook frequent responsibilities for the International Baccalaureate Organization in the Asia Pacific region, including authorising candidate IB world schools, joining the regional IB five-year and creativity, action, service (CAS) review panels and leading IB CAS workshops. In 2002 Ted was awarded the European Council of International Schools Adult Award for the promotion of international education.
EF International Academy in New York and Torquay are IB World Schools, offering the IB Diploma Programme.
EF International Academy in Oxford and Brisbane are candidate schools* for the Diploma Programme. These schools are pursuing authorization as IB World Schools. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that these schools believe is important for our students.
EF International Academy in Singapore and Vancouver are schools interested in pursuing authorization as an IB World School delivering the Diploma Programme.
