EF Medical & Travel Insurance

Because security is EF's number one priority, we have, together with ERIKA Insurance - the largest travel insurance company in Scandinavia - put together a tailor-made insurance for our High School Year students. It's hard to find a better value to cover you for lost baggage, stolen property, illness or accidental injury, or for reimbursement of costs relating to an interrupted exchange year (something most insurances don’t have at all). Moreover, all our EF staff is trained on the insurance and will, together with ERIKA Insurance, assist you in all insurance related issues during your High School Year. Travel safe!

Erika Sports & Activities Addition

The EF High school year travel insurance, like most insurance policies, excludes coverage for certain risky sporting activities, as well as for training or competing for sports clubs outside school. If you wish to register for a sports club outside school, or if you want to take part in risky sports activities, even outside school, we highly recommend you to sign up for the optional Sport Supplement. You will then be able to practise any sport and in any form, without worrying!

EF Telephone Cards

Feel connected to your family and friends home, 24 hours a day. With our pre-paid phone cards, you can call from virtually any touch-tone phone on the planet (mobile phone, regular phones, pay phones etc). You never have to worry about having the right change for the phone booth, keeping track of phone bills, or reimbursing your host family for the calls you make. Just enter your personal code, the number you wish to dial and you're on the line with a loved one. You choose yourself how much money you would like to load onto the card, and then you (or your parents) can refill the card easily through the Internet if needed. The perfect way to stay in touch!

EF Student ID Card

As an EF High School Year student, you will be sent a student ID-card before your departure. This card might grant you local discounts, entries and other benefits. It also contains the emergency contact information you may need during your year.

ISIC International Student ID-card

As an EF student, you are eligible to get the ISIC international student ID-card. This card is known worldwide and will give you access to around 30.000 student discounts and offers all over the world. Ask your local EF-office for details how to apply.
