30-hour online course sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority focusing on receptive and productive skills related to the hospitality and tourism industry.
This course is aimed at staff working in the tourism industry, who are customer facing front liners. It is ideal for employees who need to become more confident in using English as a main language of communication in their daily working environment. It is also an ideal platform to share best practice across a variety of sectors within the industry.
By the end of this course participants will be better able to understand issues related to tourism and hospitality across a variety of sectors, in the local Maltese context.
Course participants will also be better able to apply appropriate language skills in various situations that arise when working in this industry.
Course Duration:
30-hour online course distributed as:
2 sessions of 90 minutes per week over a 10-week period.
Assessment:
Course participants will be assessed on participation during sessions, completion of assignments and projects and a final test. EF Course Certificate and EF Language Assessment Certificate.

Conditions to apply:
- Maltese nationals or Maltese residence cardholders working in the tourism industry
- Applicants can only be accepted if they present a copy of their ID cards and a letter of employment proving that they are employed in tourism
