An exciting first quarter at EF Academy Pasadena

An exciting first quarter at EF Academy Pasadena

EF Academy Pasadena is officially in session! Our campus is busy and full of students eager to learn, participate in clubs, and contribute to our new community. In the first couple of months, we hosted our first welcome days, had our first activities fair for club sign-ups, had our opening event ribbon-cutting ceremony, almost completed our first quarter of classes, and shared our first advisory dinner together!

This quarter students have been participating in many different clubs. Clubs include Cultural Exchange Club, Basketball, Dance, Cross Country, Learning Commons, Model United Nations, and Music Ensemble. Students have mentioned that they love participating in their clubs.

Our University and Academic Advising team have been working to meet with students and put together college visits for students to learn more about universities across the globe! Recently, students had the opportunity to learn about universities located in our own Los Angeles backyard.

EF Academy Pasadena’s signature Global Leadership program had its first design challenge where students were asked to think about what issues are impacting the community around them and suggest innovative solutions for ways to solve them.

Additionally, students have participated in our first-ever advisory dinner! Students were dressed to the nines and able to chat with their peers, advisors, and faculty members. Dinner was served family style and allowed students to come together as a community.

Earlier this month students traveled to watch a Volleyball game at California State University Long Beach. They were able to enjoy time with their friends and watch a college-level game!

In the upcoming months, we look forward to celebrating holidays together and attending an endless number of activities and fun such as going to a University of Southern California Football game, carving pumpkins, and visiting amusement parks. We look forward to watching students make new friends, try new experiences, and finish their first semester at EF Academy Pasadena strong!
