OUR COURSES

Our study abroad courses begin every Monday and run for a duration of 2 weeks to a full academic year. It’s your choice to make!

German Courses in Germany

(students and adults age 16 and older)

Our German language school is in central Munich, known to Germans as a laid-back city with a high quality of life. The German language school:

  • offers general and intensive German language courses to students of all levels.
  • offers in addition to general German courses, history and politics classes, a tandem language exchange with the University of Munich, or internships at a German company.
  • is close to the city's major universities, trendy shops and restaurants and a large park.
  • is a mere 6 minutes to Munich's historic city center with its famous landmarks and churches.
  • has teachers who have a wealth of experience in helping students prepare for the TestDaF and other German exams.
  • offers College Credit for 4+ week language courses.

No minimum GPA required to apply!

Here is a sneak peak of a typical day at our EF Munich school:

7:00 a.m.: Guten Morgen! Wake up in Munich
7:30 a.m.: Enjoy a traditional Bavarian breakfast with your host family; dark break, cheese and coffee 
8:15 a.m.: Take the U-Bahn (subway) to school 
9:00 a.m.: German lessons
10:00 a.m.: Conversation lab 
12:30 p.m.: Get lunch near the school and enjoy it in the Englischer Garten
1:30 p.m.: Exam preparation class
3:00 p.m.: Shopping and coffee at Marienplatz
7:00 p.m.: Return to host family for traditional dinner; maybe goulash soup and bratwurst
9:00 p.m.: Meet some friends to check out a local beer hall. Prost!


Professional internships in Germany

(students and adults age 18 and older)

Internships with local companies are available to students studying on an 8+ week German study abroad program. Students can choose between a number of companies to work with and an EF coordinator at the school will help with the placement.
