Personalized attention equals success in learning. Through our Efekta™ System, we are able to identify and build the perfect language course to suit your needs.

  • Individualized attention

    EF’s personalized attention begins as soon as you contact your local EF office. During a free personal consultation with EF Educational Counselor, we assess your current language abilities and determine which EF school and course best suits your needs and expectations. Once you’re settled in at your EF school, the Efekta™ Fluency Test accurately identifies your strengths and weaknesses. You then meet with your EF Academic Advisor to design a unique study plan. Your Academic Advisor meets you periodically during your course to make sure you are meeting your academic goals.

  • Learn more in a small, personalized setting

    You learn more in smaller, more personalized group settings. That’s why we keep our class sizes small, average 12-15 students per class (maximum is 17). Our combination of group exercises and individual assignments ensure you make progress.

    The Efekta™ Progress Tracker is one of the most advanced and thorough language assessment and student evaluation tools used. Your Efekta™ Progress Tracker continually updates and monitors your progress in six main areas: speech clarity, confidence, verbal expression, grammar accuracy, conversation range and listening. This provides you, your teacher and your Academic Counselor with instant assess to your strengths and weaknesses. By knowing where you stand, you and your teacher know exactly where to concentrate your learning.

  • The widest selection of special interest courses (SPINS)

    On most EF courses, you can choose from a long list of special interest courses to accompany your general language instruction. This way, build your language fluency at the same time that you build your knowledge in topics that genuinely appeal to you.   • Learning the culture of the language

    Guest lecturers, drawn from a list of prominent professors, historians, linguists, and businessmen, present each week at our schools. Through the Efekta™ System, lectures can also be web-cast live. For instance, during a business English course in Sydney, you might see an MBA case study led by a Harvard Business School professor in Boston. Or, during a theatre studies special interest class in London, you might listen to a Royal Shakespeare actor describe his approach to drama.
