English Courses in London

Enroll in EF’s English courses in London and study in the cosmopolitan center of the English-speaking world.

Study English in London and immerse yourself in a global center for art, fashion, commerce and entertainment. EF is located in the heart of the British capital, just a short walk from the major attractions of the Tate Modern, Covent Garden, London Eye and Piccadilly Circus. Outside of your English courses in London you’ll be able to take in a show at a nearby West End theater, browse the department stores and designer boutiques in Knightsbridge, and hop between the bars and clubs of Notting Hill. This is central London at its best.

Our newly-renovated London school is housed in a charming Victorian building. Nestled among the winding streets and typical brick townhouses of the Waterloo neighborhood, EF London features a quiet tree-lined courtyard and onsite café. The EF Internship Program supplements language courses with international work experience while our English courses in exam preparation are designed for students wishing to enroll in an English-speaking university.

Capital of the English Speaking World

Great Britain’s capital city wears the crown of the English-speaking universe. Evidence of Britain’s royal past is everywhere, from Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London to the stately British Museum. Today’s London is much more than just a royal capital; the best in European art, culture and sport can all be found bubbling at the surface here.

The old city of London has transformed itself into one of the world’s most vibrant urban centers. A welcoming attitude on immigration has turned London’s historic neighborhoods into a patchwork of communities and cultural influences. In today’s London you’re just as likely to find the world’s best curry as a great plate of fish and chips. And despite the city’s status as melting pot, London remains quintessentially British. As a matter of fact, the all-black London cabs and bright red phone booths are more important to the landscape of this city than ever before. Enroll in our English courses in London and commute to school in the city’s cherry red double-decker busses. You’ll gaze out the window as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament pass by. Thankfully, some things in London never change.

Student Talk: London

  • LauraFrance
  • LisaAustria
  • MatildaSweden
  • “I have really enjoyed speaking English with foreigners. It will really help me in the future.”

    Laura

  • “London is just amazing! The school as well as the staff are really nice and friendly. The focus in the classroom is on speaking. And I think that this is really good because while your stay you speak English 24 hours a day and you get comfortable with speaking after a few days.”

    Lisa

  • “My roomate had a smile on her face every day and our conversations could be about anything and everything. Even mixing our languages didn’t matter: a little bit of Swedish, Danish and English. I still felt at home!”

    Matilda
