University study in Australia
With the thousands of subjects on offer, there are programs to suit everyone in Australia. After graduating from high school, students go on to higher education in order to achieve a Bachelors degree in the arts or sciences. Depending on the qualification, courses can differ in length and content, with the majority being three or four years. Arts and science faculties usually offer either a Bachelors degree (Pass) obtained in three years or a Bachelors degree (Honors) obtained in four years. On successful completion of a Bachelors degree, students can go on to a Masters or PhD in a related subject.

And you can always use the credits you have earned in your College Year toward a degree in the US or Canada. You might even transfer those credits to university in your home country.
